10-9-2012 Hot Hot Hot

 Today DH picked the last of the jalapeño peppers in the garden
and then pulled up the plants.

I cut them into slices and placed them in my Gevalia crock...

covered them with Michael Symon's pickle brine...

closed the lid and put them in the refrigerator...

I will let them soak for at least a week or two
before we start eating them.
Mmmm... some hot, hot, hot heat
for the upcoming cold, cold, cold Iowa winter!
