Today I received
a surprise in the (snail)mail...
some hand-crocheted booties for my new GD
and a hand-knit alpaca cowl for me
from/made by my dear friend in Maine!
Thank you SOOOOOOOOOOO much!!!
It has been a bitterly cold winter here in Iowa this winter
so your loving gift will keep me (and my GD) warm
and I will think of you each time we wear them!
