After climbing this somewhat steep trail
in the Effigy Mounds National Park
from the Mississippi River up to the bluff top
we were able to view the effigy mounds.

10-17-2016 White Pines Illinois State Park
After my weekend knitting retreat,
DH met me at "White Pines Illinois State Park"
for several days to enjoy the beautiful autumn colors!
We stayed in cozy cabin #3.
