When sh*t happens, thru no fault of your own,

like an earthquake, tornado, hurricane, tsunami, 

wildfire, your house burning down from a lightning strike,

break-in, robbery, miscarriage...

In the news yesterday, 

it was reported that

a 24 year old woman in the state of Georgia, USA,

has a miscarriage,

put the fetus in a trash bag

and put it in a dumpster

to dispose of it.

She continued to hemorrhage

and was found out in her front yard by neighbors,

unconscious,

still bleeding. 

They called an ambulance 

which took her to the hospital

where she was later ARRESTED

because authorities didn't like

that/how she had 'disposed of' the fetal tissue.

What was she supposed to do?

Leave it there for her husband and children to see?

Put it in a crystal candy dish

and put it on the table

for all the family, friends and neighbors to see?

Put it is a Tupperware with a bow on top

and deliver it to authorities

so they could arrest her for infanticide?

No, she put it in a trash bag and took it

to the dumpster outside.

So, she was arrested for having a miscarriage

and doing what she could, 

what she thought best,

to clean up...

or as authorities called it...

disposing of a corpse.

OMG!!!

Don't men not realize that 20-30 percent of pregnancies 

result in a miscarriage

for any number of reasons?!?!?

It is NOT the pregnant woman's fault.

And it is NOT murder.

Yet Trump's 'Christian' Nationalism

says it is.

This is just sooooooo wrong!

I choose to no longer identify as a Christian

because I no longer recognize today's 'Christianity.'

It is the OPPOSITE of what the Christ taught.

Christianity has been weaponized against women.

I'm gutted.

We wert out to lunch at an Italian restaurant to celebrate...

a glass of wine,

some focaccia and crusty bread

dipped in EVO with parm and black pepper,

Caesar salad,

lasagne,

and we split a piece of cheesecake for dessert!

It was delightful...such a treat!
