9-30-2020 Braggin'

Braggin' on my sweet grandsons for a bit...

the youngest lost his very first tooth this past week!!!

So excited!!! He's growing up so fast!

The oldest grandson has got some great new glasses

and looks sooooo handsome wearing them

and is student of the month!!

9-29-2020 Attention

Time to give the girls some attention...

annual mammogram and ultrasound...

always dreading the squish...

and the results...

I do it for my loved ones...

9-28-2020 Heading Home...in the Rain

After a lovely week of weather for hikes and waterfalls 

on the North Shore of Lake Superior,

we stopped by a local coffee shop for a cuppa Joe for the road

as we headed home 9-12-2020...in the rain.

What beautiful memories I will have from this trip.

Hopefully, I can try painting a waterfall

when I work up my courage!

Best BBQ I've had IN MY LIFE!!!!!!

And that's coming from someone who lived

in Kansas City for years!

9-27-2020 Lutsen Mountains, MN

After spending the morning of 9-11-2020

balancing our way out to a light house

and hiking our way to the numerous Cascade waterfalls,

we decided to take our first ever gondola ride...

up to the top of the Lutsen Mountains

for lunch and a stunning vista!

Had a little visitor for lunch

who was looking for handouts.

Back at the Lutsen Lodge...

Time to call it a day...rest up a bit...

and enjoy the beach for the evening!

9-26-2020 Cascades Park

After taking in breakfast and the light house at Grand Marais

we drove to the Cascades Park

to hike to the waterfalls there...

9-25-2020 Another Lighthouse

This morning, Sept.11, 2020, as we enjoyed breakfast 

outside the coffee shop in Grand Marais,

we decided to go to see their local lighthouse

which was a bit of an adventure to walk out to see!

A beautiful mountain ash tree outside the coffee shop!

Waiting for these two to return so we can

head out to the lighthouse...

Okay...how is my balance feeling this morning?!?!?

We were glad to be able to visit a lighthouse up close

since the one at Split Rock had been closed.
