This morning's clouds at sunrise...

Mare's tails bring storms and gales?

Hopefully these clouds are telling us

that some rain is coming our way!

We have not had any rain for weeks

and are experiencing drought

as the Iowa corn and beans try to sprout.

here in downtown Davenport

that partially collapsed overnight.

I am praying for the people who lived there...

survivors and deceased...

and for the safety of the rescue workers!!!

I finally worked up the courage to try this painting

because it looked so difficult

that it scared the bejeezus out of me!

I love how my painting turned out!

I finished knitting another Workday Scarf last night...

a lovely sage green heather...

I took the DD and GDs on a girls' road trip today

to the Havencrest Castle.

so they had fun exploring!

Afterwards we went out to lunch at Manny's Pizza.
