still using leftover bits of yarns

from other projects.

I made this one a 'ponytail hat' 

(an open hole at the top)

for myself!

8-25-2021. Clouds

Monday morning Aug. 23rd, 

DH and I went to the grocery store early in the morning

so it wouldn't be as crowded with customers

and when we came out

we noticed this huge shelf cloud moving in...

We had left the windows open at home

not knowing that there was a front moving in,

so we made a hasty drive home

and took pix of the breathtaking clouds on the way home...

fortunately, no tornados!

We made it home 

and were able to get the doors and windows shut

before the rain started!!!

Here's what the clouds looked like above our house.

They issued in 100*F+ temps for the next week. Sigh.
