After sorting through my knitting library yesterday

I have decided on the keepers...

And the ones I plan to donate to the 

Bettendorf Library book sale...

sometimes it feels like a 'waste' of money,

but then I remember that I have read and enjoyed

each and every one of these books

and now it's time to pass them on

for someone else to enjoy.

(In the back of my Jeep read to go to the library)

Today the GDs helped me sort the books

in my knitting library.

Tomorrow I will go thru the piles

and decided which books to keep and which to donate.

It's that time of year again...

yesterday was the first day back to school for the GDs...

hope I get some pix of the GSs too!

And I got to have a lovely lunch with my daughter today at Freshii.

And today is my friend Kathleen's birthday!

8-23-2019 She's Come Undone...

After returning the creepy doll to its sender this morning

August 13 post

I needed to do an energy cord cutting

from the doll

and from its sender.

She (the doll and its sender) undid a year's worth of therapy

and the nightmares and PTSD symptoms are now back.

Sigh.

This is such an fragile and arduous journey towards healing.

So, I have chosen to cut the cord between myself 

and the doll and its sender...

for now

because I've come undone thanks to her 'help.'

After cutting the cords,

I drew an oracle card...

look what came up...

Now time for some fresh fruit and yogurt for breakfast!

I decluttered, cleaned, and re-organized the Computer desk drawers...

which we bought for our 15th wedding anniversary,

30 years ago?

 Well, we sold it today on our local online swap page! Woo-hoo!

More space and breathing room.

Knit and crochet patterns from the past several years

sorted by body parts

(for head, neck, shawls, sweaters, mittens, feet, toys, blankets, misc.)

and then gone thru again.

I decided if I might ever make it again, keep it.

If not, recycle it.

 GD#1 made Papa and Me some magic 'Harry Potter' wands

using sticks from the yard,

grass for the dragon's heart strings,

leaves for the feather of a Phoenix,

and other things...

GDs made mommy a taco bar for dinner last night...

forgot to take a pix tho.

we've been so dry for so long

that the clouds in the sky are such a treat!
