Michael starting the campfire (6-1-2018 p.m.)

almost feels like cheating!

(6-2-2018/10 a.m.) Starting our float trip
before we all tied up together on the river
for the Acevedo 7 canoe floatilla.
Floating down the Fox River.
Stretching our legs
and taking a lunch break.
Water snake.
Crawfish.
Back on the river.
Loved the shark fin on this dog's life jacket! Ha, Ha.
Limestone bluffs were interesting to look at...
moss...lichen...swallow nests...
Beautiful views from the river!
We had 3 bald eagle sightings.
Liz was brave to bring her brand new Nikon camera
(a birthday gift) on the float trip.
It survived.
"Daddy, I want to help row the boats."
Creepy sign.
6 miles and 4 hours later...all finished.
Playing bags after dinner.
Relaxing by the campfire
after a long hot day.
Ready for some S'mores!

NOT A DROP OF RAIN THE ENTIRE FLOAT TRIP!
YAY!
