Today after school,

the girls and I made some hand-sewn journals

for our sketches, artwork, and words.

This is mine and GD#2's...

GD#1 took hers home with her before I photographed them.

Did Mother Nature forgot to tell Old Man Winter

that Spring is officially here?

Well, actually, she DID tell him,

but his stubborn male ego said, "I'll show you who's boss!"

And she laughed, knowing that 

no one messes with Mother Nature!

3-30-2022 Second Covid Booster

Because we are both old as dirt,

and because we are planning to do some travel this spring

and because I have underlying health issues,

we both got our second covid booster today!

Also, DH gave me a haircut... (cut off about 8 inches!)

and saved me a trip to the salon

and about a hundred bucks! Thanks, sweetie!

3-24-2022 Yikes!

Last night,

on the eve of our 48th wedding anniversary,

the setting on my wedding ring broke

and the diamond fell out while I was doing some work

organizing and shelving things.

My dear husband came downstairs 

to check on how things were going

and he saw a diamond sitting on a shelf,

picked it up,

and asked if I had lost an earring.

Nope. Then I happened to glance at my wedding ring

and the diamond was no longer there!!! Yikes!

This diamond could easily have rolled off 

the back of the shelf it was on

and dropped behind the bookcase

and we never would have seen it again

or known where it had been lost!

Yet, dear husband came downstairs at 'just the right time,'

just 'happened' to notice it sitting on the shelf,

and I truly believe this was not a 'coincidence'

but rather a 'synchronicity'...

the Universe/Spirit aligning people and actions

for positive outcomes!

Whew! You are my hero, as always, dear husband!

I'm off to the jeweler today to have them reset my diamond!
