I am thinking of 'populating' this painting with 2 characters...

Bilbo, and the golem...

which do you prefer? With... or without?

10-22-2025 Destruction of Government Property

I’m gob smacked

Gutted

Horrified

Angry

The damage that has been done

Cannot be undone

Just like you can’t un-bake a cake

Or you can’t be un_raped

Or un-born

Permission was not asked for

Approval was not sought

It’s not his house

His only goal

Is to please himself

Like any rapist

History has been demolished

And will be re-written

And white-washed

Democracy is dead

The constitution is in shreds

The government is shut down

And has been dismantled

The streets are militarized

Terror kidnaps innocents

Prices are high

Unemployment is high

Health care is out of reach

Human Rights are taken away

Despots are befriended

Seven million humans plus

Went to the streets to demonstrate

Against what he’s doing to our country

But nothing will change

It will only get worse from here on out

As he posts an AI video of himself

Wearing a crown

Fling over the crowds

And shitting on them

There’s no going back now

The Pandora’s box has been opened

We’re done, the USA is done, it’s over

I’m tapping out

I’m out of fight

The battle is done for me

Evil, greed, hatred, cruelty,

Stupidity and inhumanity have won

The battle (but not the war)

For now

I quit

And leave the fight

In the hands of others.
