 Today's progress on KEP #3 (Chicago Bears themed)...

I got the Fair Isle motifs for the headband charted,

so now I am ready to proceed...

1-2-2018 KEP #3 Progress

Today I finished knitting the CO ribbing

and charted the first motif for the headband

for KEP #3...

(...sorry, Marshalls!)

1-1-2018 Happy New Year!

Today I finished KEP #2

and did the Cast On for Kep #3

which will be a Chicago Bears 

colored and themed hat for my son

who tried on my Kep when he was here

at Thanksgiving, and said,

"You could make me one of these please!"

12-31-2017 Second Kep Finished

Washed, blocked, tassel attached,

ready to wear!

Need to take a better pix

when I have some natural light!

I may wear it to bed tonight.

It is supposed to be -16*F

with -35*F wind chills!

Brrrr!

Also finished the baby blanket

for my next door neighbor.

AND...

BOTH my GD and GS 

lost a tooth today!

Today we sold our youth bed

using the FaceBook Swap page...

sold the same day.

Next to go is the high chair.

Winter has finally arrived in the Quad Cities!

Brrrr!!!

North of us, in Minnesota,

it is -41*F...

colder than the -16*F in Siberia!

I even had frost on the inside

of the house this morning!

Time to take down the tree ornaments,

play with them for the next hour,

and box them up for next 

Christmas.

Time to take down all the 'artwork' on my fridge

and start the new year with something new!

12-26-2017 Second KEP

Finished knitting my second KEP today!

On this one, I experimented with shapes

that were more 'organic'

instead of the traditional

'geometric' shapes of Fair Isle.

Here is the first and second KEP side by side...

you can really see the difference 

that washing and blocking makes

to smooth and even out the stitches!
