5-6-2022. Cat

I saw this cute cat painting in an art gallery today...

and decided to sketch it into my travel journal

as a reminder of our visit to the art district, and

because it made me smile...

We had planned to go hiking

and check out some waterfalls today,

but the weather had other plans

(severe thunderstorms!)

so we decided do some indoor activities

and visit several art galleries in the

River Arts District downtown Asheville, NC.

DH and I went to the theatre

to see this one on the big screen...

I love Sandra B!

We laughed all the way through

and enjoyed the out-take

midway through the credits at the end.

DD and I are beginning 

a new art journal

with a new (to us) artist

and a new 'style'...

the first page in our new journal...

...but at least it wasn't enough to shovel,

and is melting quickly!

Easter Bunny (Mama) brought some Easter Baskets with treats!

We also played catch outside

with the new baseball and mitts,

and lots of video games,

played at the park,

had lunch at Chilis,

and watched some movies.

GS#2 loved rolling down the hills...

...and they played tag with Opa!
