12-14-2024 Road Trip to Chicago...Grumpy Gus...

DH and I left a day early

to get ahead of the ice storm coming...

for our road trip to Chicago

to visit our son and family.

We spent the entire afternoon

playing about a dozen different games

with the grandsons

and had so many laughs

while they waited (im)patiently

for daddy to get home from work

so they could open their presents

and eat Christmas cookies!

We love you all so much!

Thanks for your hospitality,

your festive holiday decorations,

and giving us a cozy, warm room for the night!
