Chupacabra freehand sketching practice...
Spent much of yesterday, Easter Sunday,
helping DH install a new storm door...
the old one (Builder grade...cheapest you can get!)
came with the house 17 years ago
and we had to change out the screen and window
several times each year, which was a real pain!
And, the frame was bent from years of abuse...
from newspapers being thrown at the door,
from changing out the screen and glass,
and grandkids pushing and slamming the door.
We won't have to switch this new one out every season
but can just pull down to window to reveal the screen above
and let in the breeze and light! Ahh!
The box said, "Installation=45 minutes."
After 3 hours, we had the door hung in the door frame,
but we still have to install the two 'closers' and then caulk...
which I imagine will take another couple of hours.
...and another 1898 hat finished...
After a trip to the audiologist
during my 70th orbit around the sun
I am now the proud owner of my first hearing aids!
