7-22-09 Ribs





We allow ourselves to enjoy BBQ ribs for dinner about twice a year.
Today is one of those days... they were on sale...
out in the parking lot of our local HyVee...

We got a free jar of BBQ sauce for buying two slabs!
(After being a vegetarian for 7 or 8 years, I must admit, I missed eating BBQ!!!)

    I was a vegetarian for 9 years. I still won't eat any meat on a bone - at all! And, I don't do pork unless it's the grossest cuts of all: bacon and sausage.

    In fact, I don't think I've ever eaten a rib in my life. I'm a little strange like that.

    Gosh, I haven't had BBQ ribs for a very long time. They sound delicious.
