This morning I tried a new (to me) yoga class.
We have heavy Canadian wildfire smoke today
all the way to the ground...
I can smell and taste it.
It's a good day to stay inside.
The sky looks white (instead of blue)
and at ground level it looks like fog
but smells like smoke.
Today my dear Chicago family said goodbye
to their sweet teacup Yorkie, Teddy.
My heart goes out to them
as they mourn his passing.
He was a sweetheart.
He will be missed and remembered fondly.
I know what it feels like to lose a beloved pet.
I have lost many over my lifetime.
They are a true family member.
They give unconditional love.
They give you joy and laughs.
They comfort you when you're down.
They continue to live in your heart
long after they cross the rainbow bridge.
R.I.P Teddy.
