7-30-2012 Progress

One of the things I love about knitting

is seeing that I am making visible, tangible progress...

it gives me a sense of accomplishment!

Last night friends at "Sit & Knit"

gifted me with two hand-knit washcloths!!!

What a very special gift!!!

in order to create these adorable washcloths

for this granny to take care of her new babies!

The MetLife blimp

is in town this week

providing aerial coverage

of the John Deere Golf Classic.

It's not everyday I see blimps

flying overhead!

6-30-2012 Visited a New Neighbor

 This weekend, a new McDonald's opened in our neighborhood,

so DH & I went in to check it out!

 Very modular and modern looking...
