Yes, they're a thing.

I've learned about them 

since I started painting in Nov.2019

Starting to add form to my journal painting...

Calling it finished!

Time to move on to may next painting...

It's a Sunday morning.

Normally I would be in church.

Now church is being done over the internet for a while.

Very weird!!!

3-26-2020 Quarantine MKAL Progress - Hippy Flower from the 60's

I am participating (along with 7,000+ others across the globe)

in the Arne and Carlos "Quarantine MKAL"

patch a day.

Here's the latest...Hippy Flower...

I'm using the yarns left over from this baby blanket

I made last month.

3-25-2020 SOOOOOOO Happy!!!!

I am sooooooooo happy

to see this card in the mail,

these flags in my backyard,

and these trucks from Metro-net fiberoptics

in my neighborhood!!!

We only have Mediacom available in our neighborhood

and they...suck!!!

Even tho we pay for the fastest download speeds available

from them (X-stream)...

our download speeds are SUPER SLOW.

Everything buffers.

WWW pages take ages to load.

Mediacom had awful NO customer service.

So I'm super excited to see some competition 

coming into the area to offer us a different choice~

3-24-2020 Happy Anniversary!

Happy 46th Anniversary 

to my dear sweet high school sweetheart

and the love of my life!

We usually go out to eat to celebrate

our anniversary

but thanks to the corona virus (Covid19) 

all the restaurants doing ONLY take-out (NO dine-in)

so, we called up our usual 'anniversary' restaurant

and got some take out.

We had to call to place our order,

they told us when the order would be ready,

then we had to drive to the restaurant,

park in front, and call them on the phone again

to let them know that we were there.

Someone from inside brought out the order

and placed it on the sidewalk.

After he returned into the restaurant,

we were allowed to exit our car

to pick up our order from the sidewalk.

Also, my husband told me that

there are clear plastic shields/windows

between customers and clerks

at the grocery stores and at the post office now.

When will this end???

Anyway, happy anniversary, my dear! 

Glad I have you to share this crazy life with!

And thank you, J & E, for your happy anniversary card and wishes!

3-22-2020 Isolation KAL

I decided to participate in the

"Quarantine MKAL"

hosted by Arne and Carlos

as we 'stay/shelter at home' for several weeks.

I finished my first patch today

using leftovers from my "Vertices Unite" baby blanket.

Also finished two more hats for the

#hat-not-hate campaign.

3-21-2020 Slipping Away

For the past 6 months

or 14 year old house cat

has been spitting up her food.

Now she has basically stopped eating

and is fading away to nothing.

I'm guessing that she will be slipping away

over the rainbow bridge in the near future.

I will miss her more that I can say.

She is my Zen master!

3-20-2020 Sleepover

GDs had a sleepover last night...

we made ATCs (Artist Trading Cards)

and did some trading, then used them at bedtime

to tell stories to each other.

GD asked me to teach her to knit.

She caught right on!

This morning, GD#1 made us pancakes from scratch

for breakfast! Yum!

Today I painted a second, smaller 

Bald Eagle,

this time into my watercolor journal,

and started the watercolor paintings

for my grandsons for next month!

to spread some love to people

while out and about.
