a beef roast with Korean BBQ spices in the crock-pot...

...and a chicken in the pressure cooker...

That should keep us going for quite a while!

Plus, I made some mini King Cakes for Mardi Gras

yesterday...cinnamon with cream cheese filling!

Each morning and night

I throw a carrot out on the front porch

and it disappears within hours...

feeding the easter bunny who lives next-door

under the bushes.

I feel sorry for them in these subzero temps

with all their food sources covered by feet of snow.

So, I throw out a carrot snack for them.

They appreciate it!

because today is the saddest day in American history

as (all but 7 of) the Republicans did not have the moral courage

to vote to impeach Donald Trump today.

Now we can 'look forward' to another 4 years

of hatred, racism, mysogeny and division in our country

and more attacks on our republic/democracy,

as well as his next run for the presidency in 2024.

I am sad beyond words and so scared for my country!

This is such a fun, calming project. :-)
