And lunch...

After my searching for years and years

for a Hezicos Tarot deck,

my DH spotted one on eBay recently

and I was lucky enough to win the bid! YAY!

It is now in my possession

and I can't wait to start using it!

This deck has such a quiet, sweet, and gentle energy!

Thank you DH and the Universe!

Someone asked a clown...
Why do you wear a mask?
The clown replied...
Everyone wears one...
but mine is visible.

1-19-2024 HIMI Gel Gouache...

#himigelgouache

This project was supposed to be done using watercolor paint...

but it would not adhere to the surface of this page,

so I ended up using color pencils (which I hate!)

and pretty much gave up on the piece.

Danny Gregory had reviewed some

inexpensive gel gouache that he loves,

so I bought some and tried it on this piece,

and while I'm not thrilled with the end result,

I'm calling this one done! Movin' on...

24 colors for $22!

I lied and said I was busy.

I WAS busy...

but not in a way most people understand.

I was busy taking deeper breaths.

I was busy silencing irrational intrusive thoughts.

I was busy calming a racing heart.

I was busy telling myself "I am okay."

Sometimes, this is my busy -

and I will not apologize for it.
